Interoute\u2019s Paris data center is directly connected by the company\u2019s 60,000 km fibre optic network to Interoute\u2019s other 10 data centres and 8 Virtual Data Centers across the world. Interoute\u2019s data centers are also connected to 31 colocation facilities and an additional 140 partner owned data centres forming a massive network of distributed data centres across Europe, USA and Asia.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"spip\">R\u00e9gis Castagn\u00e9, Managing Director of Interoute for France and Switzerland commented, &#8220;We have added 400m\u00b2 to our dedicated managed hosting area in our Paris data centre, giving us a total of 1600m\u00b2 of available space and nearly 200 terabytes of storage capacity. Our facility in Paris is connected to all our data centers via our Parisian MAN (Metropolitan Area Network) which is connected to our 20 other metropolitan networks across Europe, which also allows us to connect to any partner carrier hotels. Plus we have local language teams across Europe ready to serve our customers which is a real asset.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"spip\">At the fore front of the cloud computing evolution, Interoute\u2019s managed hosting customers also have access to Interoute Virtual Data Center a global Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solution that provides them with scalable, on demand flexibility. With a few clicks in minutes they can add virtual servers and cloud infrastructure to meet their needs. Among the hosted clients in the Paris data centre are Les Fromageries Bel, Anatole, Voyages SNCF, Photobox, DDB who\u2019ve been trusting data and applications to Interoute for several years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"spip\">The new data center is PCI-DSS certified, guaranteeing the security of electronic payments, and ISO 27001. Physical Security is ensured 24H\/24 and 7\/7 and forty cameras monitor both the surrounding area and racks inside the data centre. Its resilient design includes two geographically independent and distant electricity production rooms.
