As part of the IBS strategic initiative announced on September 23, 2008, IBS is pleased to announce the launch of the Global Alliance Partner Program, and is currently recruiting both local, regional and global alliance partners in all areas of the world to market & partner with IBS to sell prospective customers, IBS Solutions.

The Global Alliance Partner Program is patterned after the successful Alliance Partner Program piloted in the IBS Americas organization. Launching the program worldwide enables IBS to place greater emphasis on growing markets such as Asia and Eastern Europe, while continuing to develop and work with partners in markets where IBS is already well established. Partners accepted into the program will be eligible for a range of benefits from highly competitive software commissions to co-marketing resources. The flexibility of the Global Alliance Partner Program allows for partners to benefit from an international company with a strong product portfolio and great client references.

To ensure success of the Global Alliance Partner Program, IBS has promoted Brett A. Paternoster to Director of Global Partners and Alliances. Brett has over 10 years of experience in working with partners, including IBM and Microsoft. During the last 3 years he has built up the Americas Alliance Partner Program to include over 80 partners which in turn has been a contributing factor in the development of the IBS Americas operations. In addition Brett will also work with the IBS Global Solution Partners.

“The Global Alliance Partner Program is a key component of the IBS strategy as we look to enter new markets as well as strengthen our existing market position by partnering with leading IT companies, consultants and infrastructure providers to provide customers IBS Distribution Management software solutions. The Program will enable IBS to provide customers a more agile delivery of our solutions while increasing IBS routes to market in 2009 and years to come” stated Mark Cockings, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for IBS.
