London, 28 July 2016 – Interoute, owner and operator of one of the largest networks in Europe and a global cloud service platform, has ensured maintaining its ability to host customer PCI-DSS certification solutions in its PCI-DSS accredited Data Centres in Zurich, Geneva, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Madrid. Obtained by an independent qualified Security Assessor (QSA) testing and accrediting to the critical aspects of Access and Physical control. PCI DSS stands for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and the globally valid standard for credit card information. The leading credit card companies, including Visa and MasterCard, PCI DSS initiated to enhance security for card payments and to protect merchants and cardholders against card data theft. Every year in April, the compliance with safety requirements is examined and decided on the renewal of the certification.
