I-PEX launches the EVAFLEX5-VS CH, a new robust auto-lock FFC connector, for industrial & automotive applications running at 105°C

PARIS-April 3rd, 2017 -I-PEX, a division of the Dai-ichi Seiko group, one of the main global manufacturers of electronic connectors, announced the launching of the EVAFLEX5-VS CH.

Fortified by success of EVAFLEX5-family connector in automotive application (infotainment, climate control), I-PEX continues to answer to automotive request in developing his high runner connector which can reach 105°C.

EVAFLEX5- VS type CH can be used with FPC/FFC shielded and non-shielded.

 

The advantages are a high productivity with mechanical auto-lock function and it’s the perfect product for high transfer rate & EMI/EMC application.

The EVALFEX5-VS Type CH can reach PCI express data transfer rates (8 Gbps).

In order to guarantee a good contact with FPC/FFC, the contact gets W-shape.

In addition, I-PEX has developed a standard FFC/FPC connector that meets 125°C for automotive application with the MINIFLEX5-FF series. This connector is fully compatible with Hirose FH28 connector.
