As of today, around 30% of data will be exchanged across borders by international companies. The different national requirements make great demands on tax compliancy – particularly in terms of exchanging invoices. On the B2B network from Crossgate, companies can exchange invoices nationally as well as internationally and be confident that they are completely tax law compliant. Crossgate’s services cover all technical and legal aspects and guarantee universal compliance.

By connecting to the Swiss specialist SIX Paynet’s B2B network, Crossgate is providing its customers with the opportunity for quick and secure e-invoicing data exchange with trading partners in Switzerland. Altogether, Crossgate offers customers a legally compliant e-invoicing in 30 countries and revision-secure, long-term archiving for both sender and recipient in 25 countries.

Customers experience the minimum technical and legal barriers with this solution. They can optimize their processes and achieve significant cost savings in incoming and outgoing invoicing nationally and internationally. “Cross-border e-invoicing is a complex topic, because many countries have special regulations for it – even more so when a non-EU country such as Switzerland comes into the picture. Not observing the current regulations can have certain consequences, for example, for input tax deduction”, said Stefan Tittel, CEO and founder of Crossgate AG.

“Crossgate gains another premium network partner for cross-border data exchange in SIX Paynet as an addition to Finnish partner Basware. From the agreements with our roaming partners, a European B2B backbone emerges for Order to Cash and Purchase to Pay which ensures compliance in all aspects.”

“We are acquiring a strong partner for cross-border e-invoicing in this agreement with Crossgate”, declared Martin Frick, CEO of SIX Paynet AG in Zürich. “We are looking forward to participating in the largest pan-European e-invoicing network now existing.” The new roaming agreement presents SAP users in particular with quick and easy e-invoicing across borders.

“For our clients looking to exchange invoices internationally, the agreement between SIX Paynet and Crossgate provides considerable value-add and the opportunity to use services from chosen service providers for expanding their company networks,” commented Gianni Giacomelli and Frank Ruland, SAP Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), SAP AG.
